This month we reflect on the ways that food becomes a source of strength, dignity, and celebration—particularly for communities that have faced oppression, marginalization, or displacement. Pride in food lives in the resilience of agricultural traditions, the nurturing labor of generations of women, the survival of cultural knowledge across borders, and the courage to celebrate authenticity.
